The CP/CLA Examination is a comprehensive 2 day test based upon federal laws and rules of civil procedure. An exam is required. All applicants must meet clearly defined eligibility requirments in order to qualify to take this national recognized exam. More information and study materials are available at http://www.nala.org.
The CP/CLA Examination is offered three times a year: March/April, July and in December. Application deadlines are Jan. 1 for the Spring Exam, May 15th for the July Exam, and Oct. 1st for the Dec. Exam.

In support of the CP/CLA program, AAPI conducts a yearly contest with 2 active members who can win financial assistance and study aids to sit for the exam.
